Rathinam Research Facility at Rathinam Technical Campus offers state-of-the-art infrastructure to support advanced research and industrial consultancy. Our well-equipped laboratories provide access to specialized instruments that enable high-quality experimentation, characterization, and analysis across multiple disciplines.

With a focus on collaborative research and consultancy services, we provide expertise and instrument access for academic institutions, research organizations, and industries. Our facility is equipped with:

Coolant Centrifuge (Labman C-24)

for high-speed separation of sample components (up to 10,000 rpm).

Ultrasonic Probe Sonicator (Labman)

for cavitation-based mixing, dispersion, and homogenization in chemical and biological applications.

Electrochemical Workstation (Biologics SP-50e, single-channel)

for studying electron transfer processes in batteries, supercapacitors, corrosion, and sensor development.

Muffle Furnace (Technico, up to 1000 °C)

for high-temperature sintering, calcination, and thermal processing.

Tubular Furnace (Nanotec, up to 1400 °C)

for precise heat treatment, annealing, and high-temperature synthesis.

Hot Air Oven (MatLabs, up to 200 °C)

for sterilization, drying, and thermal resistance testing.

Vacuum Oven (Nanotec)

for controlled heating and drying under reduced pressure.

Fluorescence Microscope (Inverted, with water circulator)

for live cell imaging, dynamic biological studies, and advanced microscopy applications.

RESEARCH FACILITIES

Coolant centrifuge:

Centrifuges separate components of mixtures by spinning them at high speeds (Max.range:10,000 rpm).

Ultrasonic Probe Sonicator:

Probe sonicators use high-frequency sound waves transmitted through a probe to create cavitation and intense mixing, enabling a wide range of applications in various industries.

Electrochemical Workstation (single-channel):

Electrochemical workstations are used to study electron transfer processes in a variety of applications, including battery and supercapacitor research, corrosion analysis, and sensor development.
